June is a Senior Paralegal and also manages our Geraldton office. She has worked in Geraldton law firms for over 40 years and has extensive experience in estates, wills, probate, settlements and general conveyancing. 

June regularly represents either sellers or buyers of residential property at settlement.

Our clients appreciate June’s practical, common sense approach and her ability to communicate in a straightforward manner.

June's experience includes the conduct of a number of complex estate matters, some involving sensitive mediation between distressed family members.  She has also been involved in complex property matters, including partition of land, applications by adverse possession and bringing land under the Transfer of Land Act.

As well as assisting clients to make applications through the Probate Office, June also offers practical assistance with general administration of estates, including:

  • making superannuation claims
  • closing bank accounts
  • arranging sale or transfer of shares
  • transferring property to beneficiaries
  • settling the  sale of real estate
  • distribution to beneficiaries

June is available to attend clients at their home, nursing homes or at hospitals if the need arises. She is also the person who represents Williams + Hughes in Carnarvon on our quarterly visits.

Outside of work, June enjoys gardening and other outside activities. June was formerly a volunteer member of the Geraldton-Greenough State Emergency Service (SES) for 12 years and was actively involved in a wide range of operations. She successfully completed a variety of nationally accredited training courses. June also took on various leadership, mentoring, training and management roles (including 6 months as the Acting Local Manager).
